The result is a premium finish that enhances your home’s curb appeal while providing a long-lasting, low-maintenance surface you’ll enjoy for years to come.
DURASTONE BY VUBA IS BUILT TO LAST
Every DuraStone by VUBA installation combines premium natural stone with advanced resin technology to create a surface that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
Built to Last – Durable enough for driveways, patios, walkways, and pool decks.
Permeable – Water drains naturally through the surface, helping reduce puddles and creating excellent slip resistance.
UV Resistant – Natural stone colors stay vibrant without fading in the sun.
Low Maintenance – Simply rinse or pressure wash to keep your surface looking like new.
Custom Designed – Choose from six beautiful colors or create custom borders and accents for a one-of-a-kind look.
Every project begins with a thorough inspection of your existing concrete. If needed, we lift, level, and repair damaged concrete and seal cracks before the overlay is installed. A solid foundation is essential for a beautiful, long-lasting result.
The concrete is professionally cleaned and mechanically prepared to create the ideal surface for maximum adhesion.
Premium natural stone is carefully mixed with a high-performance UV-stable resin. Each stone is individually coated to create the strength, flexibility, and permeability that make DuraStone unique.
Our trained installers expertly hand trowel the stone mixture over the prepared concrete to a consistent thickness, creating a seamless, elegant finish with clean edges and beautiful detail.
After the surface cures, your transformed outdoor space is ready to enjoy. You’ll have a beautiful, slip-resistant, low-maintenance surface designed to perform through Minnesota and Wisconsin’s changing seasons.
One thing that makes DBS different is that we don’t simply cover damaged concrete—we fix it first. If your driveway, sidewalk, or patio has settled, cracked, or become uneven, we’ll repair and stabilize the concrete before installing DuraStone. That means your finished surface not only looks incredible but is built on a stable foundation that’s designed to last.
DuraStone can be installed over most properly prepared hard surfaces including concrete and asphalt driveways, patios, sidewalks, porches, pool decks, garage floors, and steps. Before installation, any damaged or uneven concrete should be repaired to create a stable foundation for the overlay. Our DuraMac product can actually be installed over a gravel driveway!
Yes—but the concrete should first be repaired. At DBS Repair, we lift, level, stabilize, and repair concrete before installing DuraStone by VUBA whenever needed. Repairing the concrete first helps ensure your new stone surface performs beautifully for years to come.
For many homeowners, yes. If the existing concrete is structurally sound or can be repaired, DuraStone provides a beautiful new appearance without the cost, demolition, and disruption of removing and replacing concrete. It’s often less expensive, comes with a 5-year warranty, and has a much smaller environmental impact than laying new concrete.
DuraStone is designed for long-term performance. Made with premium natural stone and UV-resistant resin, it won’t chip or fade like many traditional coatings, and has a much longer lifespan than concrete. With proper installation and routine maintenance, homeowners can enjoy their DuraStone surface for many years. Ask about our warranty and DuraCare program.
No. One of DuraStone’s biggest advantages is its textured, permeable surface. Water drains through the tiny spaces between the stones instead of pooling on top, helping create excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions. In cold climates where freezing rain can plague the forecasts in spring and fall, DuraStone by VUBA minimizes slippery areas; however, if you have gutters or other areas of drainage, ice may still form when the air temperature freezes water before it has a change to flow through.
Yes. DuraStone is a permeable resin-bound stone system that allows rainwater to pass through the surface. This helps reduce puddles and standing water while maintaining a clean, attractive appearance. It also makes it perfect for pool decks.
DuraStone is more flexible than traditional concrete surfaces, but because it’s installed over concrete, movement in the underlying slab can still affect the surface. That’s why repairing and stabilizing the concrete beforehand is an important part of the installation process.
Yes. DuraStone is durable enough for residential driveways and everyday vehicle traffic when installed according to manufacturer specifications.
